About Tess

I have always been interested in creating images and filming caught my attention at a young age.
At the University of Amsterdam I studied Media & Culture and got my BA, after which I attended the Dutch Film Academy. First I followed a one year course, learning about lighting for film, commercials and documentary. After that year I specialized in cinematography & lighting, also on the Dutch Film Academy.
I graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in 2012.
I've been working as a freelance cinematographer since, on various commercial and independent projects.
